Community Champions 2007.
Having
been nominated as a Community Champion in the category of 'Innovation',
LymeRegisRadio went along to this wonderful annual event organised by West
Dorset District Council. Also nominated from Lyme were Ellen Rooke, as a
neighbourhood champion, the Woodmead Halls Voluntary Committeee, and
youngster, Lowell Fachau. We none of us won in the end, but we all
received a Certificate for 'outstanding voluntary contribution to the
community'.
