No, not breaking up big
rocks on the chain gang. These chains represent the shackles worn around
the necks of Mayor's. The Chain Gang is an unofficial body of ex'mayors
who gather together occasionally. We went along to the Chain Gang meeting
at By the Bay this week, and with Pip Evans, chatted to many of the
mayor's prior to lunch, a walk in the park, and a look at the Marine
Theatre. I think the day ended with a Cream
Tea.
