THE PSYCHIC FAYRE Electric Palace Bridport
A
rare trip out of our area for this controversial event in Bridport.
The first Psychic Fayre in Bridport for many years was an enormous
success, and generated pre-publicity in the form of letters to the
press from a few local Christian fundamentalists, which reached
front page in the Bridport News in the week of the event, giving
dire consequences for Bridport if the Fayre wasn't cancelled.
Fortunately, it went ahead, presenting a wide range of ideas, from
healing arts, complimentary medicine, tarot readings, and local
artists. We interviewed organiser Sue Outhwaite who has her own
fascinating story to tell, and let the Christians outside have their
say..........
Next event is scheduled for 27th June, with one day
at the Electric Palace, and Sunday 28th at the Orchard Country
Hotel,
Rousden.
